"Clean rooms as usual stayed there 3 times now and never been disappointed yet "

"Car parking was fine, staff lovely, room need a good hoover near window very dirty on carpet, asked for a bed make up next day didn't get one, rooms could do with a paint again as lots of marks on walls near bed. Bathroom bit miss matched in decor, pity wasn't a bigger shower as very small. Over all the stay was good, but for the money we paid breakfast should have been included. "

"Lovely Hotel. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully presented. Bathroom spacious with nice shower and fittings. Breakfast in a well set out dining room and the menu is very good as is the breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. "

"Each room is individually appointed giving them unique feels like one would find as a guest in a home. En suite bathrooms were updated and very clean. It was a thrill to stay in an historic home I just wish there had been more information available about its history. "

"We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu."

"Staff was great.. hotel was peaceful.. grounds were stunning.. only one issue was with our door in room 6 reported that hinge was broken and door wouldn't close without lifting it. reported Sunday left Tuesday...We were in room and realised that door wouldn't close on self closure. Must say wouldn't stop me returning to this hotel, would recommend "

"Lovely room,Staff very nice and welcoming. And my husband and I requested the same room as we stayed in before , as we were returning guests, to the hotel .And the hotel upgraded us to our preferred room .Thank you, and we will be returning soon ."
