Great hotel alternative in Como

The owner, Maurizio, was very friendly and went out of his way to tell us all about Como and what to do with our limited time there. We had a family room, which turned out to be 2 separate bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin beds. There was a bathroom accessible from the hallway, but it was private for our family. These two rooms have the best view of the valley below. You can see Como with its cathedral and the lake in the distance. The rooms were comfortable. It should be noted that there is no air conditioning, but it cooled down at night, at least enough for us to be comfortable. Depending on the circumstances, it may be quite hot in the room. Maurizio provided a good breakfast in the morning, and we all left having appreciated his hospitality.

Det största problemet var att det inte fanns någon aircondition på rummen. Vi fick visserligen en golvfläkt som hjälpte föga, men i barnens rum fanns ingen.
