"Had a great mid-week stay. Excellent location. Room was spacious and comfortable. We got massages at the salon in the same building. Great to have the parking! "

"The hotel is nice overall. Convenient location. Warm indoor pool (which was either saltwater or didn't use many chemicals because it didn't bother the eyes or have a harsh smell). Beds were comfy. Breakfast was meh. We got there 45 minutes before it ended and there was little food and it all looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. The place seemed pretty clean and nice except that there were lots of small bugs in the rooms (i.e. ladybugs and stink bugs NOT roaches or bed bugs). We stayed at this hotel twice in a short time period and had the same experience in both rooms. Also, the air conditioner/heater was filthy! This is a common problem in hotels but one of them was so dirty that I froze rather than turned it on. Otherwise, good place to stay. "

"Ate dinner at Rustic sat at bar. There were 2 bartenders. Only about 8 customers in the whole place. Had to send salad back after waiting a very long time for either of them to look our way. They grabbed the salad and never offered us another one. We ate our meals and were hoping to order a second drink but again they just wouldn't look our way. Never checked on us until our plates were empty and we were in disbelief that then someone said how ya doin here? We had been on a 51 night road trip. This was the worst service we'd experienced anywhere! Again this is a small bar with 2 bartenders. One of them told us it was her birthday. Maybe that was the reason?"

"It was a nice hotel. Got a noise complaint from the other guest staying in an adjoining room from us. They did not verify our “noise” before calling us and asking us to quiet down. All we were doing was sitting in the bed playing uno. Whatever tho! Haha. Also we got an expired Diet Coke from the vending machine. "

"We stayed for three nights. The room was pretty clean. I had expected housekeeping services every other day, which didn’t happen. I went to the front desk and got my own towels, etc. if they had a different policy, I was not informed by signage or staff. The staff was very helpful in finding an item in closet and holding it for us at front desk after checkout. My husband used the fitness room and said it was good."

"To be completely honest split Rock is really outdated and in need for upgrades. For one the water that comes out of the room faucets is kinda yellow. The furniture was kind of falling apart. The movie theater played the movie and everything just shut down Midway with no explanation why. The pool tables in the billiards room are all broken up. The parking lot has holes throughout so expect a bumpy ride when around the property. There is no food options during the week at all. Was kind of disappointed Will probably not be back here but if you're looking for a cheap place...... go for it. "
