"I'm not sure who the lady was that checked us in, but after driving for about 8 hours through triple digit heat with 2 large dogs we were exhausted. Had no idea we'd actually arrived before check in....but the nice woman behind the counter informed us were we too early and the room wasn't ready yet. I asked if we could just bring everything (dogs and luggage) into the air conditioned lobby and sit there to wait. She said it was no problem....15 min later our room was ready! I know this isn't a big thing, but for us and the dogs it was a wonderful act of kindness! This was our return stay. We'd already stayed a night the week before on the beginning of our vacation and this was our stop again returning home from spending the 4th of July in Mt Rushmore/SD. "
