Very good place to stay at. Close to the station, shops restaurant and you get the option of the church view or the river view. Only caveat is the breakfast. If ur ok with some croissants and tea thats f8ne but nothing beyond that. Nonetheless, its good value imo.

The free breakfast was crossiants and a coffee machine. They had free WiFi but we were unable to utilize it due to poor connectivity. The bed was low to the ground and as a side sleeper I could feel every spring in the bed. Great centralized location though.

Great location, easy walk/transit to many attractions. The hotel is in a busy area although with ear plugs I slept excellent and the hotel is well sound proffered. The hotel room was tiny, which made it difficult for 2 people to get ready together/move around in. Wouldn't stay for several nights, but it was fine for one night.

The Rhein St Martin is quite a small hotel in a fantastic position overlooking the Rhine in the centre of Cologne. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. They offer complimentary tea, coffee, pastries and apples for breakfast. However, if a more substantial breakfast is required, guests can eat at the Rheinzeit Restaurant about five minutes walk away. The hotel staff will give you a card which you can present there and as long as you buy something, you will get a small bowl of fruit and either a juice or tea/coffee.

We booked a “king” size bed but it was actually 2 doubles put together. The room was small but practical, water pressure (shower and toilet) was great, ac was pretty good for European standards, and room was very quiet.

The location was perfect, so close to the train station! So many restaurants to eat from along the street. Very clean and comfy beds. The air conditioning was great as outside was very hot! Would stay here again should we revisit cologne!!
