My stay at the boutique hotel was very good. It was only three minutes from the train station, which was exactly what I was looking for. The location was beautiful, right next to a stunning Gothic cathedral, and the hotel itself was easy to find. Once inside, the staff was very professional and welcoming. They directed us to the elevator (lift) to reach the fifth floor; however, the elevator only went up to the fourth floor, so we had to climb one additional flight of stairs. The room itself was very nice, and overall I had a great experience. I would definitely stay there again for a few more nights if needed.

"Boutique"? Only if Boutique means disorganised, disconnected and higgledy-piggledy. From the long, dark corridor you enter before you reach reception, to the elevator that exits onto a landing with stairs up or down, to the maze you travel to find your room, this place is chaos. I could barely get in the bathroom because the door hinged the wrong way! How it is even allowed to operate with an elevator that exits BETWEEN floors is beyond me? This place is only a thing because of its excellent location

The room was clean and simple. We did not realize however that some rooms are not part of the main hotel and you need to exit the hotel and go to a different building to access your room. You will also have to walk up a couple flights of stairs depending on your room location. The room has no phone to contact the front desk if needed. It was extremely warm in the room which forced us to keep the windows open. The lighting in the room is terrible and it was extremely noisy due to outside noise. Our room was above a restaurant and store and across from a bar. Keep that in mind if you don’t want to stay somewhere noisy. The front desk staff were pleasant. I would say for the price the location is good but this is definitely a no frills hotel.

This was the perfect location. the room itself was large, clean and we liked the layout with a separate bedroom. the hot water did not last long for showers, and the 4 flights of stairs was not desirable - the location to train station, cathedral, shops and restaurants made it a great stay.

This hotel has an excellent location. Close to the train station and metro. It has the Cathedral at walking distance of two blocks Shopping and attractions. I would highly recommend it.

Best location, 2 minutes from Hauptbahnof. Excellent price despite the area. No air conditioning inside the room, no soundproof, we could hear the neighbours talking on their phone, the elevator randomly works.

There is NO AC, it was very very very hot in the room, we could not sleep at all - and it was only mild temperatures outside. No fridge, no fan, no closet. The toilet water was leaking. The cleaning lady was amazing; however the reception staff (especially the older lady) was very unfriendly, rude and had an attitude. She made me feel like I am bothering her by asking a question. I will absolutely not stay there ever again.

It’s a nice place. I stayed in the new renuated part of the hotel. Checkinn very smooth. Chef is very nice & made special omlette for me for breakfast. Over all value for money. Location excellent 2 mins from koln HBF.

Basic but convenient

It was clean and a good location is was ideal as a base for us we only use the room to freshen up and sleep. Walking distance from the train station and shops. On check in the receptionist didn’t give a warm welcome didn’t really communicate but would happy stay here again for location and convenience. Good value for money.

Stayed here because I had booked another not great hotel and needed to find something last minute that would be better. I mentioned it on check in and the receptionist was so friendly and asked to let him know if i had any issues with the room because they would want to help. It was comfortable, clean, large enough and perfect location
