"My first time at this hotel, and it will be the last time. The hotel isn't that bad, and the rooms are fairly clean. What kills this hotel is the staff, especially the staff at the front desk. First of all...NO ONE answers the phone if you call the front desk. 2nd....some of the people there have an ATTITUDE towards anyone who is having a problem. My main problem was I couldn't get the AC in the room to work. I came down to the front desk to complain and the front desk told me to talk to someone else. They accused me of using "bad language" when all I said was I can't get the "Damn AC in the room to work!" And because NO ONE answers the phone if you call them from a room....you have to go down to the first floor and talk to the front desk. Eventually after 45 minutes a man from maintenance showed up and got the AC working. However....later that night I found it was too cold, but the controls won't really work except if you shut the thing off. Finally...when I checked out...I came down to the front desk at 9am along with a couple who also wanted to check out. There was NO ONE at the front desk. So....I left my key cards on their front desk computer keyboard and left. It's not just the staff. IT IS THE MANAGEMENT of this hotel. They won't fix the rooms with the heating and AC problems ( tons of bad reviews on Google on this ) and they let some of their employees either be lazy or have an attitude. In my opinion....stay away from this hotel."

"The hotel staff was nice. Check in was easy. Breakfast was decent with lots of options. Our room was very hot with only 1 small wall vent for cool air to come through. I assume the hotel is older. Location was convenient to the National Mall which is why we were there. Overall, not a bad place to stay."

"The room was good. The staff was great. The amenities were good. I recommend performing maintenance or upgrade of the air conditioning unit (room 307). It made significant noise at night making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise it was a great stay."

"I stayed at another location (Motel Six Camp springs) for 2 days. I would never go back there and spend $1.00. I got here by the Grace of God. It is Heaven to ME. The staff, especially, the manager, he personally helps his guests, when he's available. I can go out on the patio in the am and have my conversation with God without any distractions. It's so serene and peaceful..I love it!"

From check in to check out, we were only greeted with pleasantries that included a continental breakfast, approachable front desk personnel ready to assist, and a two-room living space that was totally accommodating to my four-person family."
