"Facilities were clean and safe; staff was kind. Breakfast was decent. Hotel is definitely bare bones and in need of some updates…towels worn, beach chairs rickety and there were some issues with the plumbing (shower didn’t drain well, toilet barely flushed). We were in studio 6 and our biggest complaint was the VERY bright outside hall and stair lights that shone in through the windows at night directly into the bed even with the blinds drawn. These should be dimmed after midnight and/or better blinds need to be installed. I had a stairway light shining in my eyes all night and had a hard time sleeping because of it. Howler monkeys also woke us up at 4 am from the trees right outside this unit - not the fault of the hotel, but still something to note. All in all a good value and we would consider staying again, but would not recommend staying in that end unit because of the bright outside stair/exterior lights and the monkeys. "

"Clean and very well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location: across from grocery store; 5 minute walk to restaurants and gift shops. 10 mins to beach. An amazing experience and will return."

"Blanco Torro is a quaint little hotel. Ita not on the beach, but very close, a 3 minute walk. Each room has a little outdoor area with a couch and table and chairs. They provide a small and simple breakfast which was tasty. There was hot water in the washrooms. It was nice and quiet and didnt have much noise at all from downtown Coco"

"Had the best time at this beachside hotel. Very quaint with only a handful of rooms that are all steps to the ocean. The food was fabulous and the area was safe and walkable to other fabulous restaurants. Coco was our favourite beach, calm waves, beautiful sandy swimmable ocean! And best of all no one trying to sell you crap on the beach! Very walkable beach, we loved everything "

"This listing is misleading. The hotel is pretty run down. The pool and "beach club" were not available - they told us the pool was not working. There is a fridge in the room but there is no coffee pot or teapot. It's a very basic hotel. More like a motel. It is 2 blocks from the beach. They do not have a restaurant - they give you a wristband to get breakfast at a restaurant across the street and it was not good. We would not stay here again. Also the young girl at the front desk was not very knowledgeable and could use more training. "

"We stayed only for 2 nights, but the apartment was clean, the pools are nice and clean. The mattress could be a little more comfortable but overall it was a good place to spend some nights. "
