The hotel’s car park area was small, with the usual inconsiderate or poor parking, by some, blocking a number of spaces. That said, as the civic car park is available to guests, at the same £3 cost, paid at reception, a voucher is issued to display in your car windscreen.
The rooms are clean, simple, with an assembled modular, plastic, bathroom facility, which is perfectly functional. Big towels. Small, ageing, TV with free-to-air channels only and rather poor sound. On the road side of the hotel, the traffic noise is noticeable, even with the window closed.
We didn’t have breakfast or use the bar.
