Nice, clean, comfortable B&B

We stayed up in the very top room so it was a little bit pokey, but was clean with new and modern facilities and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good also.

Fantastic Service

Our stay was lovely, Eddie at the Croft was great and couldn't offer anything more. He offered a lot mre than we expected and the breakfast was amazing.

A wonderful stay....

Such a lovely guest house, very clean & tidy. We would definitely like to go back, and would recommend. The friendly owners are so helpful and welcoming, and cook magnificent breakfasts!

The guest house owner was very welcoming and helpful with the local attractions and where to eat. The room is beautifully furnished and very clean. The full English breakfast was so nice and there was also extra fruits and pancakes to go with it too. Overall the service is exceptional and I would definitely recommend it!

Enjoyed our stay at the Croft B&B and would stay here again on a visit to Cockermouth. close to the main street, pubs & restaurants. Breakfast was very good.

Great spot in West Cumbria.

Tucked away in a quiet part of a small town, so quiet. Great welcome and continued help from the owner and wife and staff. Excellent breakfast. Very good place to stay

The perfect base for exploring Cockermouth.

Eddie the host was very warm and welcoming and the breakfast was superb; a great selection of home cooked and cold choices such as fresh fruit, yoghurts and cereals. Thank you for a lovely overnight stay in Cockermouth and I am sure that we will return in the future.

Cockermouth - the less exploited end of the Lakes.

Scrupulously clean, in a quiet street but slap-bang in the middle of the town. Eddie (the landlord) is a cheery chap for whom nothing is too much trouble. We'll definitely look him up again.

All round winner

Great location (especially with parking) and as good as previous reviewers. This is a peaceful guest house with a fantistic breakfast and plenty of room. I would recommend it for anyone planning to visit the western lakes and Cockermouth itself.

A real home from home

We really enjoyed our two night stay in Cockermouth recently. The accommodation was first class and in a quiet location, close to the town's shops, bars and restaurants. What made the trip extra special was that the owners, Eddie and Barbara, made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. A nice touch was that you could help yourself to bottled water and fresh milk from the fridge in the dining room at any time. The breakfast was excellent, with the homemade bread a tasty bonus. We would not hesitate to return to this home from home.

Lovely, comfortable guest house

Croft House made a boring business trip very enjoyable. The owners were extremely helpful. The breakfasts were scrumptious. The room clean, comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend it and would like to re-visit on a leisure break

This place has the best breakfast ever

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Croft Guest House whilst attending a friends wedding in the area. The guest house is located on a lovely little side street with off road parking so very ideal for us. We received a very warm welcome and felt instantly at home. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean with a good bathroom with shower. Tea and coffee and hot chocolate was available in our room and everything was very clean and in excellent condition. Aside from the lovely welcome and very comfortable room, the breakfast was by far the best thing about this place. Best breakfast ever! The owners use all locally sourced produce and it was amazing. In terms of location, it is literally just off the high street in a nice quiet area. Everything you need is nearby. This guest house is outstanding value for money. Can't fault it.

Excellent place to stay, everything and more than you would ever need! Breakfast excellent, locally sourced produce. Freshly cooked. Owners very friendly, and helpful. Can't fault it!
