"Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Stunning lake view from the room. Really good breakfast. Just a few little details missing, i.e. removing glasses from tables, especially outside and a bit more attention the cleaning up the garden area further down. "

Our evening meals were beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast too. Bar staff, spa staff and reception staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. "Nice old hotel, I like staying at these grand old hotels when possible! Very welcoming and friendly staff, car park was small but they found me the last spot when I arrived in the evening later than planned. I was hoping to use the electric car chargers but these were occupied by contract guests so arrive early or perhaps arrange with them beforehand if your electric car is nearly out of juice! Very handy feature to have, even better if I'd been able to use it!"
