"It was pretty good. The lights went out in the bathroom a few times, but we’ve dealt with worse. The guy who checked us in was really nice. We’re english speaking- and he was very patient and spoke way better english than we do Spanish. But then we couldn’t find anyone who worked there until like 10:30 the next day. Like we were going to check out at one point but there literally wasn’t anyone in reception or anywhere. We just left to get breakfast for a bit instead. You can walk just about anywhere from there it seems- Coba is tiny though so it doesn’t matter where you stay if you’re worried about being able to walk places. Also it was very quiet- only a little eerie. We only seen one other person while we were there. There’s fun swings by the lake outside :) Lots of dogs that don’t look like they are dying :)"

"Loved the wildlife and nature trails! Food was delicious and there were so many options and places to stop. The Lazy river was our favorite, they have inner tubes there but you can buy pool floats at the store too. Unfortunately like most of Eastern Mexico the beach was shut down due to seaweed. If you are a Ultimate Leisure Club member the Club Beach was cleared and the water was mostly swim able. Make sure to get the App and use the interactive map, would suggest taking the shuttle/carts around so you get a feel for the layout and where everything is. If you have a stroller or WheelChair there are a few paths with stairs so you’ll have to find an alternate route. Staff are super friendly and concierge are located through out the buildings so they are very accessible."

"The rooms were clean and comfortable. We did have an issue with the shower not draining properly, but maintenance came quickly and resolved it. The drink selections were good, though top‑shelf liquor comes with an extra charge.The entertainment staff was amazing — very friendly and culturally diverse, which made the experience even better.Ordering food was a bit challenging at times because some of the waiters and waitresses didn’t understand English well, which led to mix‑ups with our orders.The pool and jacuzzi closed at 6 pm, which felt early, and you definitely have to get out there early in the day if you want a good spot.Overall, a decent stay with a few areas that could be improved."

"Our overall vacation was excellent. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. All was clean and the facilities are great. The only thing we found a little less than our expectations was that some evening entertainment had additional charges and the buffet was largely the same each day, although the food was really good. Despite the sargassum problem the beach was well kept. We are likely to return. "

"We only saw turtles when we went out of the resort and paid for the guides. The food from the buffet and room service gave us a tummy ache everyday unfortunately. The drinks were okay, there was not a lot to do to be honest. We had a decent time though and the staff was always there to help."
