Coastal South Carolina hotel rooms a the Red Roof Inn

"Staff overall were nice. Amenities nice. Laundry could use an update to use an app or card to pay since they don’t have a way to get change aside from cash at front desk. Dave at the bar outside was amazing a the highlight of the trip. Only critique is the facility could use updates. It’s clearly pretty dated but felt clean and well maintained overall. "

"This property was excellent if you’re traveling with kids. The only downside would be that it’s just an old property, like most of them are in Myrtle beach, and it could use some improvements. "

"This place was ok. The grounds are nice. Hotel seemed clean. There was live music nightly, and the staff was friendly. The two restaurants could not accommodate my husband’s food allergy, so that was a bit of a drag. There’s a daily resort fee however, beach lounge chairs are extra, and housekeeping doesn’t make beds unless you ask. I did ask btw, and they were only made once out of the 5 nights I stayed. This could be a great place…but…"

"The room we stayed in was clean & bright. The staff is friendly. The service of our room remains to need help. We were there for 5 days & no one came in to grab & replace used towels, remove the filled garbage bag."

"Pros: Always a great place to stay. Facilities are great, staff are friendly. Food and drinks are good. Very clean! Cons: Signage could be better. Charging $18/day to self-park is insane. This isn't in a city, parking in the lot couldn't cost more. And a $35/day 'resort fee' is nuts. Those fees should be built into the room, not something you find out about once you've checked in and find the pamphlet in your room. "
