Top Coastal South Carolina Hotel Reviews

Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel

8/10 Good

"The hotel is a 3 star hotel but the photos made it seem so much nicer. It is an old hotel that they have renovated but they still have the old popcorn ceilings and the bathroom is old school with the vanity outside the bathroom. The bathroom could use updating for sure. The staff was nice and overall the rooms seemed clean. The only other issue was the stale smell in the room like a wet dog smell. It was unpleasant."

Sea Crest Oceanfront Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This is the 2nd trip this yr we have stayed with Sea Crest and my children just love it! There isnt 2am wake up calls, no people beating on the walls, its so clean, and people are so friendly toward everyone. The pools are clean, we can even use texting to communicate and its litterally no hassle to get things or to get someone to help you!"

The Breakers Resort

8/10 Good

"Great check-in and friendly staff! The room was clean with a beautiful ocean view, although the living room couch and pillows could definitely stand an update/replacement. The safe was not functional, and although clean…the bedding was noticeably worn. The location was perfect for activities and dining options. For the price, it was an enjoyable stay."

Coral Beach Resort and Suites

8/10 Good

"Rooms were mostly clean, hotel starting to show its age. The staff we worked with were friendly, pools clean inside and out. Unfortunately like most places in Myrtle, the weed smell takes over especially on balconies. Just something to keep in mind. For the price we had no major complaints on our stay."

Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island

8/10 Good

"The place is not in better shape now that Hilton owns it, than it was when Marriott did. Closet doors don’t close, pool wasn’t working, shelves in the shower were falling off, toilet ran constantly. I’d expect more. The property is on a great spot and the view is gorgeous. It needs some TLC."
