"This was our second stay at Clydesdale. The apartment was clean, spacious and Chris has thought of everything. 10 mins walk to the seafront / harbour / theatre with many restaurants and bars or a 5 mins walk to a beefeater restaurant with outside seating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Where to begin? *Couldn't get into contact with the owner for check-in, arrival times, code to the key box or anything. Only after contacting Travelnest (the third company in charge of advertising the property) by phone on the day of check-in, I got a very short email from the owner about the check-in time (an hour later than advertised) and code for the key box. "Lovely little diary cottage with plenty of space for the two of us. Everything you’d need for a stay in the country side and only a short distance to Exeter and its attractions."

"Middle of March and still fairly cold .Main heating doesn’t stay long enough to heat up the apartment.I had to use the electric heating which run on a meter .I ended up paying £15 on the electricity meter for heating ,lights and cooker for 3 nights stay .The downside for me was paying to keep the electricity going .Just be aware when booking ,they have the old electricity meter where you have to pay extra to keep the electricity going for the duration in your stay "

"Great apartment, convenient location, excellent communication. We stayed as a family of 6 adults and had plenty of room in this comfortable, well equipped and well furnished apartment. Parking can be a bit difficult, but we always managed. The shop is quite well stocked and Naveed communicated well and promptly."

"Was a lovely 2 nights stay..had a superior twin seaview room. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty choice..the hotel could do with a little updating inside and outside. Booked a superior but unsure what was superior about it..unsure what you got extra than a standard. But overall a pleasant stay."

Comfortable stay

"Excellent location, no parking on site but there is a multi storey car park a short walk away. Rooms are spacious with everything you need and the rooftop bar is good if a little understaffed at busy times. Breakfast was good and the service couldn’t be faulted "

Great hotel, close to shops & restaurants.

"This is a great hotel within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was large and clean, had a large comfortable bed and a good bathroom. It was also very quiet which is a bonus! Staff were very friendly and informative. Parking was included for an extra charge. We will certainly stay there again when visiting Exeter! "
