Talbot Hotel Cork

Talbot Hotel Cork

10/10 Excellent
"Very modern and clean hotel. We were able to connect our phone to the smart TV to watch our trip videos and a streamed sports event, which is a somewhat rare amenity in Ireland. We stayed here the night before flying home instead of an airport hotel because it was less expensive and better amenities than the airport hotels. Easy drive to the Cork airport the next morning, under 30 minutes even in morning traffic."

Kinsale Hotel & Spa

Kinsale Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"We spent only one night in Kinsale hotel and spa. The room was specious and the views were spectacular. We stayed in the harbor view room. Unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to visit the spa but it looked amazing. Breakfast was great with so many options in it. The staff was who made this one night stay so good, friendly, helpful and cheerful. I couldn’t fault them. The only negative for this hotel that you need a car to go to the city. It is close but you can’t walk it because it is a bit away from anything. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the city but you need to book a taxi to come back. You need at least an hr to be able to get a taxi so make sure you pre-book your way back. The toilet floor seems to be noisy when walking over it. Other than that everything was perfect. I wish I had more time in Kinsale to enjoy the hotel and its views further."
