Hotels near Clearwater Mall

"Well, when we got there, we were set for room 143 as soon as we walked in the refrigerator had leaked water all over the floor. The toilet, barely flushed. I paid extra for the room then we removed to the room across, which was 142 and it was dirty the dresser was falling apart. They put a washcloth in with the floor towel. The couch looked absolutely disgusting. Besides the bad how it was made up. Nothing else was good about this place and I wish I would’ve never paid what I paid if I knew it was this bad."

"The location of the resort was great, cleanliness and overall look and feel was top notch. It was far to crowded for us, but between baseball opening day and the tail end of Spring Break, I get it, but our anniversary date doesnt change. I am very disappointed in the staff, not their attitude , but in their ability to complete simple task requested of them, task I offered to pay for if they could just get it done, task they assured me no less than 5 times in 2 days would be completed. I just really dont understand how such nice people, that seemed to have their act together, could literally lie over and over..I almost feel like the break in communication might have been on the back end and maybe were not aware. I probably wont stay here again, 800 per night to get lied to isnt worth it..I can get that at home for free."

" We were in a suite with 2 queens in the bedroom and a small kitchen and living area with pullout couch. It was a good size for our family of 4. The bathroom door was broken (missing the strike plate) and would not lock or stay shut. We had to bring a chair into the bathroom to put against the door to keep it shut. Luckily the bathroom was large enough to keep the chair in there. We reported this 3 times before someone from maintenance finally came around 5:00 on our second day. He tried to fix it but after some failed attempts decided he didn't have the right part and would have to order it. Hope it got fixed for the next guest. There are a bunch of shops and restaurants nearby even within walking distance but beware they are not open late. We arrived after 9 PM and had to drive a few miles to get dinner because everything was closed."

"I always stay in nice hotels never motels … but this time I was trying to save money and closely relied on reviews. People said it was clean it was just so so and people said it was close to everything it was miles from everything. The only place in walking distance was the ballpark. How did they never mention how scary it is for a woman traveling alone to arrive to no front desk, no staff, having to get your own towels and toilet paper? No body wash in dispenser and I call to have it filled it never was and when I call back she says they said it was filled even though I said it was not. Broken air conditioner. Reported and never fixed. No ventilation try sleeping nights in Fl w no air con. Worst experience of my life. Normally Expedia reviews can be relied upon. What were these people on? They must be people who bever stayed in a real place. Avoid here at all costs not worth it to save a little.😡"

"Room was nice and quiet! The hotel is being remodeled which presents a problem as they are expecting staff to work the same under these conditions. Well, Jake was excellent!! "
