We had a wonderful time. The owners are so inviting. It’s the perfect place to stay to experience the nostalgia that Cle Elum has to offer, not to mention the farm to table breakfast.

This is a very unique place with a lot of history behind it. The owners are foodies who like to cook, and the breakfast alone is worth a stay here.

My husband, ESA pet, and I have traveled extensively throughout the State, and this is by far the best place we’ve stayed in recent memory. It is a delightful and extraordinary mix of museum, bed-and-breakfast, and nostalgia with all the modern amenities. The phrase “when you’re here, your family“ cannot be more accurate. The proprietors are beyond wonderful and welcoming from the moment you step in to the moment you check out. Breakfast is served to order and they even accommodated my particular dietary requirements with delicious creativity and personal flare. Other offerings arranged from fresh bake cookies and pastries to basic fruits and other healthy options. Additionally, I could’ve spent hours just wondering around looking at the impressive array of train memorabilia and pieces of history, both local and beyond. You will be hard pressed to find anywhere comparable, all at a highly reasonable cost. My husband and I have pledged to return there every time we travel through the area again, and immediately discussed making it our destination for our anniversary trip this year. We are thankful to the gracious staff who made our stay simply magical.
Quaint little spot in a quaint little part of Washington. We had a great time and are looking forward to reserving one of the train cars for next time.
The breakfast was fantastic
Super cute, fun stay! If you like sterile carbon copy hotel chains, this may not be for you. This place is unique and well done. Our 2 teenaged daughters and our dog loved our stay here. We were cozy in our comfortable beds. It isn’t luxurious, but it had everything we needed and was cute as a button! The owners/hosts were friendly and helpful. We will very likely stay here again.
This is the second time we've stayed, first time in a caboose and this time in the depot. The owners are so friendly and offered us a beer after we had ridden our bikes from North Bend. Will definitely return again!
We stopped here for a night while riding the Palouse/John Wayne/Iron Horse Trail from North Bend to Beverley. Everything was better than expected. The owner greeted us with cold pints which is exactly what we needed after a long day of riding! The place itself is like a museum with historical memorabila and lots of information about the building and operating of the railway. I opted for a room in the main building and was pleasantly surprised by the large size, cleanliness and extremely comfortable bed. The room was quiet and breakfast in the morning was excellent. Long story short, my only regret was planning a trip that only required one night here.
The place is really unique and definitely a place I would recommend. We really enjoyed the train themed decorations throughout. Definitely would come back in the future. Owners are accommodating and the service is great!
Outstanding place!! One of a kind, Outstanding staff, a must place for to stay for nice weekend from Seattle. I stay in one of rail cars and it's was fantastic.
This place is an absolute hidden gem!! The owners were so accomodating and full of local knowledge. I felt like I was staying at my families house. Loved it!!!
Staying in a train caboose was so fun. The owners are lovely friendly people and made a delicious breakfast. It was dark at night and great for star gazing.
Very nice for a one of a relaxing experience. All reviews are right on 9.2 I will be be back, already booked. It's a short drive from seattle. Lovely, nice, and great host's.
