"The room was very dated and dirty. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls and whenever you moved around the room, dust followed you. I told the front desk when we first checked in but they were fully booked and couldn’t change our room. Maid service never came to the clean the room until I went to complain to the front desk. The front desk gave me Bonvoy points and $50 credit but then took the credit away because maid service did technically come after I complained. I think that’s was not a good thing to do because I had to go out of my way to wait in line to complain in order for a basic service to be done. Also I called ahead and asked when the pool would be open and I was told Sunday at 1pm but it turns out that was not true and the pool was closed so I stayed an extra night for no reason. It just wasn’t a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff was polite but they just didn’t do enough to make up for the terrible stay even after my bad experience was brought to their attention. There’s lot of hotels in the area so go with one of those and not this one."

"The hotel was OK. There was a little wear and tear in the bathroom, like peeling paint on the ceiling. We think this is, in part, due to there being no ventilation in the bathroom so it gets really steamer after a shower. It was also tricky to keep the room at a comfortable climate; it was either freezing or stuffy and hot. Finally, the staff was SUPER loud in the middle of the afternoon (loudly calling to each other down the hall), and we were trying to nap our toddler. Suffice it to say, he was not able to nap with the yelling."

"The property was well located between two metro stops, and had attached, a quality Mexican restaurant with Thai, Italian, Japanese, American eateries, all within a short, five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was s bit sparse, no continental breakfast or even coffee options so one would need to walk to nearby Starbucks for morning jo. The hotel was basically clean but the rooms are quite small and spartan like. My room went a day without hot water but was restored in short order. If location is important, where not having a car is part of your plan, this hotel meets the mark. If you’re looking for amenities, the Bethesdan is right next door and a Marriott is just a short walk down Wisconsin Av."

"For the cost of the room, it did not even deserve any star. The wall switch for the power outlet was popped out, unsafely wires exposed. None of the side lamps were working. There was no elevator. This was the worst hotel ever for me, would never recommend this hotel to anyone."
