"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "The bath had an 8 inch long section of rust on the rim and lime scale build up on the bottom part of the shower door. Other than that the rest was lovely. The pillows were very thin and felt like rolled up carpet, how I wish I had taken my feather pillow. The bed felt nice and comfy when sat on the side but both my wife and I had a poor night's sleep, she woke with back ache and I had a painful hip from being a side sleeper. On a positive the room was nice and clean. We ate at Leo's and we both had a nice meal. Would we return - no."

"No reflection of amenities that were advertised on the advert on hotels . Com very misrepresented x very dated , dirty very tired very disjointed with rooms all over the place . Asked to be moved rooms and accommodated thankfully . Only slightly better. X Breakfast was a joke in a café on the opposite side of the road terrible service poor breakfast small quantity of food, cold lucked everything you could imagine will definitely not stay here again."
