"The balcony really made the room. But it was clean and tidy and comfortable. Bathroom was fine with a good shower. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and really great. "Superb hotel in every way. It is on the expensive side, especially for some of the wine, but everything is of the highest of standards. Excellent golf course, played 2 rounds, greens were as good as it gets, very true and good speed. I was lucky as they had to move to temporary greens for 2 days while they treated them...I wouldn't have been pleased if I hadn't been able to play having booked the hotel for the golf! Our room (#419) was very nice but we had to ask for a fan as it did become very warm when the window was closed. All in all an absolute treat to stay at this hotel and we hope to be able to return in the future."
