"Excellent Stay & Breakfast, but Major Billing & Communication Issues. Pros: The stay itself was very pleasant. The service was top-notch, and the breakfast was excellent. Cons/Areas for Improvement: 1. Breakfast Variety: While the quality was great, the menu felt repetitive. For guests staying multiple nights, it would be much better if the menu changed daily to avoid a monotonous experience by the second day. 2. Billing & Staff Training (Major Issue): This was the most stressful part of our 4-night business stay for our team of seven. Before booking via Expedia, I called the hotel to confirm if they could provide a GST invoice with my company details. They explicitly confirmed they could. However, upon check-in, the staff strictly denied this, claiming Expedia must provide it. I spent my entire stay under significant pressure, having to explain the situation to different staff members and managers every single day. On the day of checkout, they did finally provide the bill, which proves it was possible all along. The "hustle" and misinformation I faced were due to a clear lack of knowledge and training among the staff. Management needs to ensure that the team is properly trained on GST protocols for third-party bookings and, more importantly, that they provide consistent and accurate information to guests to avoid unnecessary stress."

"I just escorted my young daughter, who had to appear in an Exam. at NID, Ahmedabad.The booking was from sixth of March to ninth noon of March, 2026. The stay for the first two days were uneventful and o.k. with us. On the day of our departure, i.e. on ninth of March, we had a scheduled Flight booked, starting onwards journey at 7-15 PM. Accordingly we did approach the Hotel Manager and requested him whether we can leave our luggage at the lounge, as we would leave the hotel after taking lunch from the hotel itself and would be back in the afternoon for collecting our luggage and start our airport bound journey around five in the afternoon and made the all our payments due to the hotel. The hotel Manager conceded to our request and informed us that he would make our hotel stay to 'Checked Out' status, as it was a system bound requirement. While ready to leave the hotel at around 12 o'clock at the noon we ordered the hotel for our lunch. We were served the lunch at 2-15 PM. After finishing our lunch, I looked at my mobile screen for any update on our flight information and found that our flight would be delayed for at least two hours.I did instantly contacted the hotel manager and enquired whether we may overstay for two more extra hours as our flight has got delayed.He conceded to our request by charging Rs. 1,000/- extra for the overstay. I did pay the extra amount to him and decided to wait in the room. And then happened the climax; deliberate power-cut of our room."

"The Mani Mansions is a lovely hotel with a sedate yet elegant atmosphere harking back to a bygone age. The rooms are well appointed with traditional hardwood furnishings and tiled floors. Helpful staff made our stay comfortable. The vegetarian food menu with a focus on millet makes a refreshing change, though in other ways the variety on offer is super. We did not have breakfast as we had a predawn checkout for an early flight. "

"They should check room properly if everything is in order and working before new guest arrives! Hot water tap was broken and I had to ask for towel, toilet tissues and soap, etc. tv box had to change too!"
