"Easily found the hotel, check in smooth and the room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking at the back. Tucked away down a quiet street but within 5 minutes walk of the town centre, the Abbey itself and plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was a typical continental and checkout very simple."

"This is a lovely hotel. Unfortunately, we arrived during a heat wave and the air conditioning was not working. However, the owner had advised us in advance about the situation and couldn't have been more helpful in aiding a comfortable night's sleep by providing us with two fans. They worked very well and we had a good night's rest. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had tea and coffee making facilities in our room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again."

"The only issue was at the automated booking in, which didnt recognise my Expedia booking number. However that was resolved by the call via the intercom. The breakfast was great which was a surprise as normally the budget hotels have a poor selection - not here! Bed comfortable too so good nights sleep were had."

"When we arrived at the hotel my husband was not well with stomach problems.The receptionist was so helpful and kind and ordered a pizza for us to be delivered to the hôtel só we would not have to go out to eat.The restaurant in the hotel,is closed over the weekend. He was so kind in every way and we had a pleasant stay there…many thanks to his attitude towards us "
