" I am Cuban American visiting for the first time Cienfuegos: The city is pretty, the people friendly, and the weather is good. As far as the hostal "Casa Colonial el Sol" I will say that Yala, the host, as well as her husband, offer an excellent, dedicated and caring service to all the guests. The breakfast was excellent, delicious fruit, omelettes, good coffee, milk, bread and crêpes. They have for the power blackouts rechargeable lamps and fans that are provided to the guests. Wi-Fi service is also good, they are able to connect it to a generator to offer that service permanently. I will highly recommend to stay in hostal "Casa Colonial el Sol" located one block from "Prado de Cienfuegos"."

Clean spacious room with a safe box, aircon and private ameneties, free WIFI. The owner Isabel is very helpful with local information and good advices Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"This property was one of the best stays in our vacation in Cuba. Starting with Manager Eleonor. She was awesome always attentive to our 2 year old daughter. Food was excellent, rooms spacious and clean. Nice family environment. This is a hidden gem. In our cuba visit stay in different places but I can say I had a better time and treatment than at Melia Varadero. Also Camilas House had the best Mojito I had in Cuba. Will go back again. The owners should be proud of their staff very hard working team and dedicated to customer service . And Eleonor is the best she knows the service industry. Thank you all at Camilas that made our stay wonderful. "

"Carlos was super friendly. A fab free fruit cocktail on day 2, and- above and beyond- he brought our forgotten cables and plug to the bus station. How super-lovely. :) :) Breakfast was yum, and the roof terrace was a great cool area ( in both senses of the word). Wifi for about 20 minutes a day though, either c 8 am or 11 p.m. It seemed. Highly recommend"
