"This is a fantastic new hotel in Mandawa, an off-the-beaten-path city that is well worth a visit. Set in a fully restored haveli (a traditional merchant’s palace), it offers beautifully appointed rooms and excellent service at a very reasonable price. There is no better place to stay in town."

"Key problems were that hotel wasn’t in the town advertised (it was in Ramgarh and not Fatehpur as advertised) and nor was the room we were allocated anywhere near the size or standard of the one advertised. We felt very let down with what we felt was a very basic and seriously overpriced room. Some other aspects of what was advertised also turned out to be inaccurate. "Everything at this property went beyond my expectations. Absolutely amazing place and staff. Surendra is an outstanding manager and a host. He showed me around the property, and presented several rooms to choose to stay in. Rooms are very tasteful and elegant. Dinner was amazing - I had Lal Maas washed with a few glasses of Sula Shiraz. You can also unwind with a drink by the bonfire. They also have a stable and organise horse-riding trips - if only I had more time!! I cannot wait to be back!! "

Had the opportunity to meet the friendly owner who shared his story about this Havela and its renovation. Wish I could have stayed longer than 2 nights. Loved Mandala as well."
