"The Schafli is a companion hotel to the Hotel Uzwil which is a good 4*. Breakfast was at the Uzwil, a 10 minute walk but worth it as an above average breakfast in a lovely clean restaurant. The bedroom at Schafli was clean, good sized shower room and functional. No staff on site and seems to cater over business overnight customers. Very handy for the excellent rain service across Switzerland and cheaper than Zurich"

It was too noisy to open a window overnight due to the main road being right outside (high volume of lorries/trucks) and there was no AC or fan in the room. We requested a twin room when booking but it was made up as a double on arrival. We called the hotline on the check in info and a lady was with us in 10 mins with 2 twin sheets to change the set up which was good."
