"Apartment smelled of smoke, washing machine door broken, no cooker , beds uncomfortable very very hard like sleeping on floor. Towel change once a week, no cleaning , cutlery- we had to buy a knife as theirs blunt. Surroundings of building dirty , broken pipes, does not look like the picture. Other hotel - gym dirty and only few equipment , need a car to drive up to it. Very very basic overall. Reception not there on weekends and one day in the week."

"Nice hotel - very good value and clean Difficult to find but if we hadn’t taken the slip road as per sat nav and gone a bit further there was a sign for the hotel and a better entrance We had our dog with us so the big room was a bonus We booked this hotel as it said :- English spoken Bar/ lounge Room Service None of this was available for our stay - probably better in the summer Fortunately we had food and drink in the car that we were going to take home Restaurants available in the next village but we couldn’t use as we didn’t want to leave our dog "

"Our family enjoyed a two night stay at Casona De La Pinta and we were very impressed. It was the highlight of our trip. We travelled from Biarritz, France into Spain and through Navarra, the Basque country and into Cantabria - and we fell in love with this boutique hotel and the village of Riocorvo. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they were very forgiving of our limited Spanish. We stayed in the Presidential Studio Suite which was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The location is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside and mountains but only a short drive from the coast. The local bar (Bar La Plazuela) and restaurant (La Cuchara de las Meninas) both served amazing, delicious food with warm, friendly service. We highly recommend Casona De La Pinta."
