Basic but OK

O was on a bike tour and stayed one night. There was a bike room which is really good. Room was basic but I expected that. Many good restaurants around in that area. Breakfast is nice. The lights in the breakfast room were flickering. Drives me crazy such things

We arrived late and in the rain. Were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. My heavy bag was able to be stored downstairs and I took only my overnight bag upstairs (no lift). Very convenient to train station. Restaurant atmosphere was fun and food great. Staff are amazing.

This is the perfect place to rest after a long day of traveling. We were taking the Bernina Express into Italy and stayed here the night before. The staff is exceptional and well as the room! We opted for a private bath but after staying we would of just as well stayed in a room with the shared bathroom. The complimentary breakfast is amazing! Boiled eggs, fresh bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, granola,variety of fresh cheese and ham.Book here you won’t regret it!

Cheap and low quality

Single room was not comfortable: the room was very cold at night and I couldn’t sleep at all as the bed was very stiff and uncomfortable, plus alot of noise from the street and at 7 am staff start cleaning and screaming in the corridors which are not sound proof at all.

Good location very central to the old town. The room was very clean and comfortable but we were on 4th floor with no lift! Advantage of roof being next to the terrace though. Good breakfast.

Hotel is in a very good location in the old town. Lot's of dining options around. Breakfast is simple but it is adequate. Restaurant dawnstairs is good. Rooms are pretty small but thats what you get for such a low rate. Staff are kind and helpful. One thing I was disappointed about was, when I requested a cup of hot water, I was told that I must pay 4 Swiss Francs to fill my cup with hot water. I have traveled to over 35 countries and no one ever charged me for a cup of hot water before.. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

It was in the old town and only 10 mins walk from the station. As it was an old property there wasn’t a lift so I had a bit of difficulty carrying my suitcase up the narrow stairs

It works if you need a bed.

Bed comfort and lack of an in-room bathroom were the biggest disappointments. Also no hair dryer and only one electric outlet away from the bed nightstand were two more. No lift was another. And finally breakfast was mediocre at best. Help was friendly and good. And it was clean!

It's a very old building in Old Town, not far from the train station. Everyone there was very kind but when we checked in but only the top floor room was available (5 stories and no elevator). The stairway was dark and although I'm in pretty good shape it was a real struggle to get our two suitcases up there. My 80 year old mother had a real hard time but she made it! The shared bathroom was clean and right down the hall, but upon check-in I was told that our shower was 4 floors down .....why?? Even though we were hot, sweaty and exhausted we skipped the showers and tried to sleep. There was one window (with no screen) in the room but no cross breeze unless we left the front door open which we didn't feel safe doing after dark. The room was clean but hot, humid and stuffy and live music was playing in the courtyard until at least midnight even with earplugs in it was pretty loud. Luckily we only stayed one night between trains, I knew it wasn't a posh place but it was a bit more rustic and challenging than I bargained for. Everyone working there was very nice and kind it's just a very old cramped building.
