The hotel is located in a really good area near restaurants, shopping centers, great distance from the border and downtown San Diego. My room was very clean, definitely needed new curtains ( some holes on them), pool area was closed, parking lot has some trash. Location was excellent.

Pool was closed by city. Room was dusty and grimy. Blankets were thin and cheap. Beds were really noisy and old. People had loud music past midnight. People sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Lobby is never open. Parking lot was full of shattered glass. Check in was easy.

There weren’t any housekeeping services during our stay. In order to get more towels we had to go and ask for some. The floor looked old and needed fixing. The curtains of the shower didn’t fully cover the bathtub: it was difficult to prevent water from falling out of the shower. I liked that the area was quiet and there was enough parking. I didn’t have any trouble staying here only the condition of the property. The staff was very nice!

Nothing like the pictures first of all. Sketchy parking and neighborhood. They asked for $100 deposit while checking in, after I booked with Expedia, so I paid it cash. Walked up the dirty stairs to my room. Room felt like no one has been there to clean in months, musty smell and sticky floors and dirty walls. Immediately walked out told front desk it was filthy and I didn’t feel safe and got my cash deposit back instantly but I’m currently waiting on an Expedia refund. Definitely not family friendly, I’m a single adult male traveling solo and I didn’t feel safe.

Not the best experience

We were surprised to see how narrow the parking lot was when we arrived. But we mamanged to park our large suv, carefully. The room in appearance looked great. Just like the photos online. But the floors were not properly installed and they bubbled. So as you walked each plant rose with each step. There were places where the joints also didn't connect. The room was clean, but it was odd how each mattress was still in its bag. Bed bug prevention i assume? Then there was the lights. The room had 5 recessed lights. Only one worked. 4 needed replacement bulbs. We reserved a room for 6 people, we only had enough towels for 2, thankfully we brought some of our own. It was almost impossible to sleep. The first night there was a child screaming at 4am and pounding on doors. Other people throughout the night were opening and slamming doors. Stomping around, it was complete chaos. The 2nd night, well it was 4th of July, so there were fireworks set off nearby. A lot of them. Then, again, stomping up and down the path above the room. I did enjoy being able to have my whole family in one room, but we won't be staying here again.
