Such a lovely place to stay. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The room and amenities are in excellent condition. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was warm and comfortable with the most amazing pillows. The room is very quiet and we hand a sound sleep. We will absolutely stay again.

Service was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade was appreciated and the fact that I could checkin earlier after a long flight. Location is great close to a bakery in what seems like a good neighborhood. Bed was comfortable , heater in the bathroom was great Z soap, conditioner and shampoo provided. Maybe the only thing I would change is not charge extra for laundry as it’s off putting.

Amazing accomodation. Best we had in NZ during our 2 weeks travelling the South Island. The bed was so comfortable! The surrounding area is excellent with plenty of good eating places and a lovely walk into Christchurch. Highly recommend

The staff was really lovely and kind. The room was spotless and looked freshly painted. We loved having the bedroom separate from the living space. It felt like an apartment instead of a hotel room. We would definitely stay at the Elmwood again.

Very helpful and friendly The rooms are spacious and clean, and you can cook your own meals as long as you have the ingredients and seasonings. It's a 5-minute walk to the supermarket, a 20-minute walk to Riva Side Market, and there are also McDonald's, a liquor store, a steakhouse, and an Italian restaurant nearby. Thank you to the owner, Terry! and his wife! See you again someday!
