"Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! "Stayed for 2 nights BB and couldn’t fault it, front desk were pleasant and alway helpful, along with the staff in the restaurant. Bed was massive, and comfortable. Everything you needed was in your room. This hotel is close to the park & ride, so very handy for getting in and out of Oxford, and last bus runs till after 11pm. "

"Just back from an overnight stay and I must say what a super place the Oxford Belfry was! I was staying with my daughter and two grandchildren. They gave us a suite with separate bedrooms which was fantastic. Huge rooms with double basin shower room plus a separate toilet and basin. Loads of space to put belongings. Very clean, very comfortable beds, complimentary water and tea/coffee (machine with pods), bath robes too. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great - easy flowing layout, good selection of hot and cold, it was great."
