"i have mixed views on this hotel. welcome area and staff member that welcomed us in was excellent. she was very friendly, informative and this part of the hotel was well maintained and clean. our room was good, bed big and comfortable. however the spa facilities were not great. the area surrounding the pool was very small so not any loungers and only a few chairs so no where to sit and relax. the sauna was very hot, and steam room was good. the changing rooms were dirty and the floor especially needed a deep clean. the gym was a tiny box room with a handful of weights and i spent 15 mins in there and as there was 3 other people in there it meant it was we had paid for breakfast which was very good and plenty of choice. overall i was disappointed with the 'spa' facilities which were below expectations."
"Food was competively priced and good quality but very little choice of cooked breakfast items so e.g. porridge was in a pack you added hot water to yourself and only omelettes available for cooked item and needed to be ordered in advance.
Bar snack type food was generally tasty and great fresh salads served by helpful and attentive staff.
We are in our 80's so not happy with a bed up against a wall so maybe this should be noted in info.
The facilities are well designed and excellent for the price and the aircon is really effective and can be set to a guest's exact requirements.
A great hotel chain for short stays and those who don't require a close car park while in Bath. The hotel there is very well situated for Roman Baths, Pump Rooms Cathedral and bus tours as well as a lovely garden by the river. Also many types of food available within a short distance and lots of places to drink outside too.
Tourist attractions are well worth a visit and Bath is a great location"
"I can't say enough GREAT things about this hotel. The value for your money is incredible. Walking distance to bus and train station. We just rolled our bags the three blocks and entered a bright, cheerful lobby. The staff were ALL so friendly and helpful. The room and bed were comfortable with a strong stream shower to start each day. The morning breakfast buffet was AMAZING! What a spread! So many options. This is where to stay when you go to Bath."
"Breakfast not included. At molie's diner menu was too much meat based. Should have some healthy options. Could have told us about other dining places nearby."
