Chicago hotel rooms a the Kimpton Hotels

"Hotel is in a perfect spot if you want to be in the middle of everything. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was fantastic! I didn't expect much but they have gone beyond what some hotels provide. Staff was great from check-in to check-out. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family"

"Our room was uncomfortably warm. They explained that the hotel is old and they put either the air conditioner on or the heat on in the hotel and since it was going to be cool the next day they had turned the heat on to begin heating the hotel for the next day. They did give us a fan and opened the windows for us. It was difficult to sleep due to the warm temperature. Also our room did not lock from the outside. The door could be opened by simply pushing it open. It made us very nervous to leave our things in the room unattended. Someone did come to help us close and lock the door before we went to bed. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake and grant park."

"When I looked around the hotels near this one were several times more expensive…ie, The Four Seasons is very close by. While we know that’s a huge upgrade, the Hilton was clean, friendly and in a great location. We came back to sleep! The rooms are dated, but ours separated the king sized “bedroom” from the living area where the pull out bed resided and was perfect for our mom! Overall the rooms were dark, quiet, and bed / pillows were super comfy!"

"The hotel is awesome. Three of us stayed in a double queen room. See surprised with two bathrooms. Everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was excellent! Very professional and personal able. Will stay here again. Thanks!"
