Poor maintenance but great staff. Stayed here for the first time a few years ago, that’s why we came back. Needed to switch rooms during the first few minutes of seeing the room. Broken shades, drawers broken and kept rolling out, dirty tub. Luckily the front desk staff was understanding and didn’t think twice about switching me. Planning to come back for future stays but hope maintenance can get back on their game!

I really enjoyed my stay at Doubletree Downers Grove. The hotel was clean, updated, the beds were super comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Great gym and pool. I travel for work and plan to make this my first stop moving forward. Lovely!

Suite was clean and well kept but bathtub was narrow and dangerous. My husband slipped. There’s no grip on the bathtub floor. The bathtub floor is also not flat it curves and is narrow.

The room was so spacious & super clean. The bed was comfy and the shower was great! Parking was good too. No free breakfast offered though. During our stay there was a boys hockey tournament. So the pool was a 24 hour splash fest & obnoxious noodle fighting. It's a small pool area for such a big hotel.
