"Room was clean, we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel. Staff was great, pool and hot tub was nice."

"Brookside was a nice place. It could use some updating, however. I rented two rooms. Pros - Rooms are spacious. The location is quiet and peaceful. Kitchenette has sink, refrigerator, and microwave. (No cutlery, dishes etc. provided. The bathroom is good. I especially liked the sinks. Cons - The lighting in the room was weak. No central ceiling light and lamps were not very bright. Rooms did not have the same amount of lighting. Beds need new mattresses. The furniture was different in the rooms. One had a couch and no chair. The other had a chair and no couch. One had two chairs at the peninsula. The other had one. All of these chairs needed some repair to the backs. It appears that when furniture is broken it is removed and not replaced."

"My husband and I visit Pigeon Forge often with our family. Normally we stay at the same hotels, but we took a chance on this stay. From check in to check out we have zero complaints. Quick, EXTREMELY friendly check in and check out. Clean and spacious double queen room (bathroom is nice size). We were near the elevator and never heard anything outside of our room. Beds and pillows were top notch. We would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again soon! "

"Absolutely amazing!!!! We loved it and we are in our 40s. The slides were so fun and the pool! Very nice restaurants, candy shops, and coffee shop. Rooms were great and clean. Staff was super nice."

"The carpets in our room was very dirty. When we walked barefoot, our feet were black.the rooms were adequate and large.great beds.but in need of some upgrading and deep cleaning.The breakfast buffet needed more choices, maybe some pastries or bagels.it left alot to be desired. We ate their once and then went out to eat.the room staff brought fresh towels and emptied the trash.that was it.never vacuumed in the 4 days we were there. And unfortunately and unbeknownst to us.There was a car show going on, and they were racing up and down the street all night long.It was horrible, we were awake.All the time at night.that was no fault of the motel the traffic was unbearable.You could not even get out to have something to eat.You would be waiting in traffic for hours."

"The manager of Hidden trails must have been over worked, I have never experienced a manager to be so rude. There were 9 of us for dinner, we waited for an hour before we even asked how much longer. She immediately had an attitude, We pointed out that people in the restaurant that came in after us had already received their food, She said oh yeah who? Point out who got their food before you. We said that we weren't going to do that because at this point everybody in the restaurant was looking in our direction, The manager stormed off and said there's only three of us. Maybe more training in customer service. This was very avoidable. On another note, customers should be made aware of changes in the waterpark prior to arrival. The maintenance made our stay difficult due to having a handicapped person with us and the closure led to her not being able to participate in our activities."
