"My husband and I visited in celebration of his 40th birthday and we were there two nights at the beginning of December. If you love Christmas like I do, coming during the month of December means you get to see the inn decked out in all its beautiful Christmas finery! LOVED the decorations throughout the communal spaces. The tavern and restaurant on site are wonderful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The staff was nothing but welcoming and warm and the epitome of small-town charm. Everyone we met were friendly and kind. We're already talking about when we'll visit again.
Only downside of our king-sized suite in the historic inn was the sink drained very slowly. I let the front-desk staff know on our way out so it could be fixed for the next guest in the space. Other than that, the suite was lovely and perfect for our stay.
One last thing: so much is within walking distance from the Country Inn. Many restaurants, coffee houses, shops, the Berkeley Springs State Park and the bath houses. We walked everywhere and most places we got to in 7 minutes or less. That close in proximity."
"Everything was fine. Staff were excellent, location was excellent and the room was high quality. I may have previously said something about the lights in the room. If I did, the lights were perfectly fine. The problem was me. I didn't realize that they could be adjusted. If I did say something about the lights in the room please discount my earlier comment about the lights"
