Staff were very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. We had a delicious dinner at wharf 2 with great service from shaka siphon. I would also like to recommend Magesha (travel coordinator) who arranged a comfortable transfer with driver Anbum who waa friendly, punctual and informative. We loved our stay in mamallapuram

The facility was good and we had a room with a wonderful pool and sea view. We enjoyed the sunrise over the Bay of Bengal. Activities wise on a weeknight, it was boring after high tea. Hotel needs to have some activity or show after sunset even on weeknights.

Excellent property. It has access to the beach. Staff is polite and helpful. Reception team is very efficient. Swimming pool is the highlight. Rooms are super clean with all needed amenities. Would like to stay again next time.

The cost of this resort is too high. A room service and buggy ride calls are very slow. The cost of the restaurant is very high and not worth it. A2B is very close to this resort. This restaurant is ideal for both lunch and dinner. We had an issue with room allocation. After two hours of check-in time, Radisson staff (Rahul) helped us resolve the issue.

A disappointing stay

We were generally disappointed with our stay, especially as it is one of the most expensive we have stayed, almost double what we paid in Mysuru which was excellent. Started with having to change rooms immediately because of a bad smell in the bathroom, although the staff were helpful in the process and there was no problem in the replacement room. The resort is huge and not easy to find your way around, no printed map avaliable and signage very poor. The hotel is also quite dated especially around the infinity pool area a lot of either missing or badly repaired grout. Also limited sunbeds and shade available and toilets badly in need of refurbishment. Found the food fairly average and food and drink prices high. The service was also hit and miss, although we found Kajal very pleasant in the waves restaurant. There is a beach adjacent to the hotel but no effort from the hotel to encourage you to use it, no tables or sunbeds avaliable. Not sure how the hotel has so many favourable reviews it's not a place we would go back to, Radisson really need to invest in the property as at the moment I think it's an embarrassment to the brand.

Guests were not appropriately treated on arrival. They were threatened that they will not get the room, unless pay the charges for the stay in full before checking in! I tried messaging your Resort multiple times, but never received a reply! Reply to email requesting to send a pre-payment link so that I can settle it before guests arrival, unfortunately reply was delayed. Anyways, overall satisfied with services provided. I will hesitate to recommend in future.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
The accomodation was perfect! We only had a little problem with the booking, because we had booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child 15 years and at the Hotel wanted to charge us extra for the child. Special hotel rules... After discussing with the staff at the reception, the managerin solved the problem gently. Beside this, it was really great!
