"What a find.
This hotel is perfect.. such great value for money.
The parking is very safe with a lockable gate.
The room we had was lovely and large and very comfortable
There was even a kettle for hot drinks and complimentary bottled water.
The hosts are lovely people and speak good English. We would stay again if in this area. I would imagine it would be beautiful to be there in summer.
There is a great diner in the next village only a few minutes away by car"

"Quite special experience of ‘French Rustic’. Very well done and presented. All necessary facilities and comprehensive self catering equipment provided. Breakfast included, was most enjoyable and offered considerable choice of items.
This proved an excellent country stay and well worth trying, but double check route plan - not terribly easy!"

"This is a lovely old hotel, recently refurbished I would imagine, in the centre of Cognac. Staff were friendly with a good command of English and our room was clean and comfortable with a fantastic shower! Breakfast was very good too! Parking is available but as we visited on a weekend we were able to park on the street outside for free. The hotel is very well located for bars and restaurants as well as the major brandy houses."
