"Very nice hotel and accommodations! Friendly welcoming staff, clean and well designed facilities! The three of us shared a two queen bed room which was great as it did not feel crammed. Each of us had room to place our belongings and we were fortunate enough to be there when we were disturbed by any surrounding hoo haha. Definitely will come back!"

"This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had, especially for the price point. I completed online check-in in advance, but when I arrived, my key wasn’t ready and I still had to wait in line for about 25 minutes because the front desk was clearly understaffed. That completely defeats the purpose of offering online check-in. There was also no easy place to refill a water bottle, which felt like a basic amenity that was missing. The walls must be paper thin. There was constant door slamming late into the night, going on until around 2am. Not occasional noise, but repeated slamming that made it nearly impossible to sleep. Even my college-aged son, who can normally sleep through anything, couldn’t believe how loud it was. It didn’t improve in the morning. Starting around 7am, staff walkie talkies were beeping loudly in the hallways, which woke us up. Then, despite completing online checkout for 11am, someone knocked on our door at 8am asking if we had left. That was completely inappropriate and disruptive, especially with my son still asleep. For nearly $500 a night, this level of disorganization, noise, and lack of consideration is unacceptable. I would not stay here again."

"Room was nice and clean. Room was spacious and had a good size mini fridge in room. Property was well maintained and easy parking. Easy to get tooon and off the highway. "

"The original hotel was a funky little motor lodge from the forties and it’s been transformed into a chic designer boutique hotel. The quality of the bedding, decor and even the bath fixtures were very high end and our stay felt luxurious. This hotel group has a few other vintage properties that they’ve restored and I want to visit them all. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Madonna Inn. Even on a weekday, the hotel was nearly full, which speaks to its popularity. Our family of three loved the unique antique decorations in the room—it felt very special compared to a standard hotel. The amenities are top-notch; the luxury pool is beautiful, and we spent a lot of time exploring the secret garden. While the on-site restaurant is a visual treat and worth a visit for the vibe, it is a bit overpriced. Luckily, the location is convenient to other dining options like Denny's and Olive Garden if you want to save a little on meals. Highly recommend for a unique California experience!"

"The front door has a decent gap between door and threshold, put a towel against the door to keep the draft out. Also, in the morning discovered ants in the bed."
