"Lovely hotel and staff were really friendly. Great that you get free parking as well a real bonus. The room itself was clean and a huge tv on the wall. Milk supplied and coffee pods for the machine which was all a nice touch. The issue for us was that it was unbelievably hot. Admittedly we went during a heat wave but it was unbearable. No air conditioning and the window barely opens. Also no extraction fan in the bathroom so it becomes like a sauna. We did have a fan but it just moved around the hot air. I know the hotel cannot help the weather but maybe if investing in the future these things can the considered. We didn’t eat here so cannot comment but the restaurant did look busy so a good sign."

"Room was clean. Included breakfast had hot items including bacon, sausage, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and beans. There was also yoghurt, cereal, croissants, muffins and juices. Coffee machines were excellent. I had a couple pints at the bar in the evenings and they were reasonably priced too. Bed was comfortable. Air-conditioning was excellent. A little far away from the city centre but there is a bus stop called the Parkway right on the other side of the tram tracks."

"A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere) Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me. Room is a bit dated, only two sockets on the desk and no USB sockets anywhere. Comfy bed, plenty of space in the room and good shower pressure! Now the downside, no Air-Con - this is mentioned on the web, but I happened to be there during the hottest June in forever! There was a Dyson fan... that was very weak with no controls apart from speed. At level 10 it did not reach the bed. I asked for a replacement but there are no spare fans. Shame as this is the only bad point I had, and the weather is not the hotels fault. Bar staff helpful, Breakfast from 6.30 till 10 was tasty with a fair selection, several different breads and I do love a china teapot! Self checkout, again with help available. Overall I would stay again, but on a much cooler day!"

"We were greeted at reception by very friendly & helpful staff. The rooms were adequate size for twin beds. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast was very well laid out & lots of choice for cold and hot dishes. All the food and juices were fresh and very tasty. The staff were very efficent at providing any extras and there was lots of space. It allowed for a very leisurely relaxed atmosphere. The air conditioning was very good and we could also open the window for fresh air. The only critisism would be the bar area which was small and had limited seating for large groups. I would recomend this hotel as it was so centrally located and beside all the sights and transport areas."
