"I really loved this hotel, however, as a single woman I did not feel safe in this part of town. There was a used condom in the parking lot, and cigarette butts and stuff all around- I was also accosted several times by the men staying at the halfway house across the street. It’s a shame really as it is beautiful, super close to the boardwalk and downtown and the staff are lovely and breakfast great. The one other minor complaint- if you’re a light sleeper- the heating/ pipes etc are really loud (it is an old building). "

"Not just the room but the whole property was spotless. The staff/owners made every effort to make sure all was perfect. The breakfast was continental style and well garnished. We were offered cooked eggs and they were scrambled to perfection. Recommended with 5 stars. "
