Great B&B!

Fenton Inn is a cute little bed and breakfast. The service and food were both great. Our room was comfortable and exactly as described. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to get away for a weekend.

Awesome!

Amazing decor and woodwork! This place is a gem. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Slept like a log. We enjoyed the hot tub and the in room breakfast. The plants and flowers were beautiful as well. 10/10! We will be back.

Unique place with a convenient location. Right outside of Wintergreen resort entrance and easy to get to Blue ridge parkway. Will is a master carpenter and the detailed wood work is just out of the ordinary. Very tasteful decorations and details on the stained glasses by Lilia. Rooms has high ceilings and are very well lighted. Come and smell the fresh mountain air for yourself for your next retreat!!

The property was unique. From the front it doesn't look like much but the inside and back had beautiful views. The room was okay but, probably overpriced for the atomosphere. We did order at a great pizza place that delivered. The owners were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was okay not great so, I would probably go somewhere else before paying for it there. That all being said, I booked everything last minute so, it was super for last minute but, with planning I would probably stay in the condos on the mountain.

The staff is awesome and helpful. What attracted me to the Fenton Inn was the fact that it looks like a European village. The woodwork is amazing from doors to beams. The breakfast was delicious and the view from the kitchen was lovely. We will return again but in the winter 😊

Great weekend getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The owners are super nice and were extremely helpful in suggesting a great day hike and where else to go in the area. The place itself is one of a kind with the amazing woodworking. Beds were comfortable and the everything was very clean. We’ll be back soon!

An idyllic, whimsical, fairy tale of a hotel!

This place is out of a children's fairy tale book! They even have a drawbridge, cute kitties running around, all custom woodwork and an amazing homemade breakfast (gluten free granola with dried fruit, fresh fruit, French toast, juices, coffee, mini acorn muffins, sausage balls, Greek yogurt, cereals, etc.).The lobby is impressive just on it's own with a handmade wood crafted coy fish pond and furniture, Keurig machine (24-7), huge fireplace, as well as cards and dominos you can access. From the minute you step foot into The Fenton Inn you are greeted with hospitality and kindness. The owners are so sweet and made us feel like home. They were accessible when needed, but our room was still very private. We stayed in the Swallow's Nest room and we were not disappointed! The views, balcony, super soft sheets, comfy bed and walk-in double head shower were on point. We also were allowed to use the movie theatre, which we made popcorn and had a cozy movie night in. They have DVDs you can use or bring your own. We didn't have a chance to use the outdoor hot tub, but it was private and looked inviting. Wintergreen Resort is literally around the corner and all the wineries/breweries are super close (10 min drive). We didn't want to leave our room or this place! As a frequent traveler, I would highly recommend this place!! Can't wait to go back and visit. PS your phone won't work in the hotel (which we didn't mind), but they have free Wifi to offer for those who need to stay connected.

Fenton Inn is the best

Everything at the Inn was perfect. Beautiful architecture, very clean and comfortable, Inn keepers are so nice and friendly. Best B&B we have been to. When we go to Wintergreen for skiing we will likely stay here again. The short drive down the mountain is well worth the better accommodations.
