Lovely bustling city, plenty of things for tourists to do, a few good spots to eat, and some nice shops for souvenirs. It is centrally located, close to the airport and some nice beaches.

The area can be quite busy when the cruises come in, but if you plan your day right, you can get to whatever hot spot you want to visit before the hoards of cruisers, and then swoop in to town as they all retreat to their vessels for food and shops.

Cute town. It had a convenient ferry to St John which we took to see the National Park there. Cash is a must for the cabs here & on St John - they don't take credit cards & few take Venmo.

If you really want to enjoy the Island rent a Jeep, roads are bumpy. Food is little bit pricey, check out before eating outside. There's few good places but minimum in good price. Best beach is Lindquist Beach, but need to pay and bring food.

Stormy pirates charter to virgin gorda and jost van dyke was great! You really need a car if your staying but beware drive on left! And parking is horrible!

No side walks, cars drive by very close to pedestrians. The beach area is far from Hotel
"Beautiful resort for the Island. The beach is not super accessible for our daughter with special needs but it was nice amenities on it. Recommend making reservations in advance for the restaurants. The food was great, the room service food limited and the coffee was horrible and I am not picky about coffee. Don’t waste your money on that, go to the coffee shop. "
"The view is to die for.... breakfast was a very good grab and go. (Bagles, hard boild eggs, sausages, hash browns, coffee, oj, yogurt, pasteries... 🔥 pool is nice and deep."
"If you are hoping to experience St Thomas like a local, Olga's Fancy should be high on your list. Tucked away at the end of a peninsula in Frenchtown, it is easy to see why past Governors and the Russian Consulate chose this hillside estate overlooking both Charlotte Amalie and the ocean. You'll be footsteps (and a few staircases) away from several quality restaurants, as well as the jitney bus system that can take you to Brewers Beach, Charlotte Amalie, Sapphire Beach, and Red Hook (where you can catch the passenger ferry to St. John).
We chose a seaside room and loved our private balcony. We also enjoyed coffee on the lanai each morning and the pool to ourselves nearly every night. We like walking and exploring more than sunbathing on the beach, so it was not a concern that Olga's Fancy is more on views and city access focused than being a beachfront resort.
All in all, a great five-night stay in July. See my review(s) on Yelp for more specific details on this property and other establishments we visited on our trip."
"This place was perfect for our family. We were able to prepare meals in the room and the room was quite comfortable. The property was quiet and clean. We had a wonderful view from our balcony. We enjoyed having the restaurant right on property, along with the bar and their various entertainment opportunities. The property is on a very steep hill, there were people walking it daily, but I would not recommend that. "
