Charleston hotel rooms a the Hyatt Hotels

"Pros: -cute aesthetic - great location it’s in a prime location in the city Cons - tiny pool is rented out on resort pass- we booked this hotel primarily because the pool was so pretty in pictures. In person it was a bit dated. Also beware there are only like 10 lounge chairs an 3 benches they call “cabanas” they rent them out in resort pass so ppl who aren’t staying there are using the amenities. This was terrible conspiring the pool is so small and seating is very limited. Needless to say finding a seat was impossible. - my room was not cleaned properly I found globs of hair on the floor. - it’s very cute but also dated it felt more like a beach hotel than a city hotel"

"The Vendue was amazing. We loved its location, walkable to SO MUCH. The staff was so accommodating and wonderful for everything we needed/wanted. The room was CLEAN and I’m a clean freak. The breakfast bag brought to the room each day was such a nice touch and all the little goodies throughout the hotel is so special. Totally recommend a stay here."

"The rooms were nice, but the TVs are very old and was hard to regulate the temperature in the room. Also, the tables and chairs in the pool area were not very clean."

"Overall worked out ok. It is considered budget for the downtown area (in reality too high compared to my other trips). Shower pressure is good, bed is comfy enough. AC, fridge & MW worked fine. Not full range of breakfast items (pancake mix is so awful it is a waste). Liquid soap only that sprayed all over. Clean towels everyday, but sheets change request never got done. The free shuttle block away worked ok in the morning but horrible coming back in the afternoons. Publix grocery nearby helped to supplement meals. French café (nearby) disappointed in their desserts unfortunately. The destination fee had extra sales tax on top of it (not disclosed by hotels.com)"
