"The views are spectacular. The place was an excellent choice for our getaway. The hot tub is right outside the master bedroom! They supplied firewood for the fireplace. The kitchen was stocked with all kids of useful tools. Overall we had a great time and look forward to our next visit."

"Our family celebration had to be cut short, but the property owners had no compassion or empathy, which was so painful and hard to deal with on top of our emergency. While at daycare, our small dog had a pretty big fall. The injury required us to cancel his boarding so we could observe him for a brain hemorrhage and fractured pelvis over the weekend. "Nice and quiet and it's right on the river. The deck right outside the door overlooks the river so if you leave the door cracked you can hear it all night it's great. The rest of the restaurant within walking distance and a trolley that can take you into Estes Park and back for free. This is great for budget-friendly people because the prices are awesome as well. I will definitely recommend this place to my family and friends. It is also very close to the Rocky mountain national Park entrance. Five stars all the way I would give more if I could and I will definitely stay here again."
"Pros: beautiful area, tons of Elk and other animals, close tu the National Park.
Cons: An older place. It was hard to know which plugs would work. It would help if the name Fawn Chalet Lower was listed in the description as we had a hard time finding it We did check in an hour early, but thought the unit would be ready for us. Things were clearly missed. No soap or shampoo conditioner were filled in the bathroom. Dishes were in the dishwasher and towels in the dryer. They ask you to wash the towels when you leave, but don't provide laundry soap? Only some burners on the stove worked. They didn't have enough utensils and some of the kitchen tools didn't work. It was super hot the first night and didn't have AC to cool the place down. It helped opening windows. We also couldn't get the fireplace to work. The book should have provided more details about everything. "
