They actually even upgraded my parents’ room and gave them a free wine because they waited for additional hours for the actual room to be ready and the hotel was very apologetic of that. The only thing was the breakfast was a bit stale compared to the price, but overall great stay."

"Not many family room option in the area and this is a gem. It may not look grand from outside, but practical value is exceptional. Room is very clean, comfy and classic. Location is perfect to subway, YuYuan, Bund. "

"We had a lovely stay. Hotel is beautiful and smells pleasant. My advise is to make sure to add breakfast when booking. I booked 3 rooms for this trip. Accidentally left out breakfast for one room. There's no breakfast restaurant around the area. "

"Great hotel in a fantastic location. Right in the middle of all the shops with plenty of places to eat. Close to subways and connections to airports so easy to get around. You can walk to the bund in around 15-20 minutes. The staff are very helpful and speak excellent English. Would definitely stay here again."
