"Staying at a castle is an adventure in and of itself. The owners/our hosts Don and Jennifer, are a delightful young couple who have restored the castle and have been there the past 3 years. Very helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was wonderful. The view was terrific and we had great fun enjoying a nighttime bonfire under a canopy of brilliant stars. "Paul and Nicky could not have been better hosts. Always there to help book restaurants and suggest good restaurants to go to. Evening meals were excellent and their company also welcoming and entertaining. This is a well keep Chambre D’hôtes extremely clean. Very stylish and well equipped. The room i stayed was huge ! "We stayed at the Chateau for three days and loved every minute of it! Stephan and Layla were so friendly and helpful, including making dinner reservations for us for two nights of our stay. "The beds were very comfortable. With a code we could get in without having to wake anyone up. Our little dogs were allowed to come with us. That was a relief. The owners were so nice to give us a late breakfast after we came in long after midnight after a wedding."

"A very difficult booking in. The owner wasn't expecting our arrival. Many and various phone calls later the issue was resolved, but I have had to spend a lot more money than I had agreed on my original booking. Given the location, I had little choice, or relocate to an alternative several miles away. The hotel was good, but the breakdown in communication between Expedia and the owner is a major concern, personally embarrassing and unless I can get a refund for the difference, unexpectedly...

"Warm welcome and made to feel comfortable. Bedroom cool, thanks to the shutters, and comfortable. Bathroom reasonably well equipped. But, the meals, taken generally on the terrace, were excellent. Ample breakfasts with local ham ad cheese with croissants, rolls and jam or honey - the sunflower honey was excellent. Tea and or coffee, of course! Dinners also very satisfying with local produce in abundance. A truly enjoyable and relaxing few days in a sleepy town in the French countryside . . "

"Despite our reservation having been confirmed, the person we contacted on the phone the day before arriving said that she had no trace of our reservation.... She said she was only doing AirB&B. She was full and said there no way she would accommodate us despite our reservation having been made nearly 3 months before. The person on the phone was unpleasant. I asked her to find a solution but she was extremely unhelpful. It seems to me that this hotel uses several partners to optimize their room...
