"Great spot. Clean. Well looked after. Safe motorcycle (and car) parking. Used the spa and sauna after a long ride. Fined in the restaurant for dinner, which was exactly as I’d hoped and expected. Decent food and nice service. Would recommend as a stop on a journey or if you’re visiting the town. "

The town on Beaune is beautiful and very easy to walk to from the hotel. There are plenty of dining options and some cute stores in the town, and it’s a great base to explore the Burgundy region. "It was ok - did the job for a stopover stay for our long drive. Would have liked for the swimming pool to be open earlier rather than waiting till 10am (which was when we had to checkout anyway). Didn’t sleep so well as the air conditioning vent made such a noise all night. "

"The hotel is stunningly beautiful. MANY stairs. Not at all accessible for anyone unable to walk. Pool is lovely. We were provided with robes and slippers to wear down. The wine bar has a good selection with varying prices. We had the Santenay, Grand Cru. Staff were extremely polite and professional and spoke English. Parking was on the street a short walk from L’Abbaye."
