"Lovely setting, fabulous looking property, although fairly dated. Would have been nice to have had a walk-in shower rather than hand held over the bath. Not all rooms have en-suite, however we were fortunate to get one. This should be made a little clearer when booking. Old and noisy
"Arrived late and needed a few hours sleep before setting off to Calais. The hotel is secure with an electric code protected gate to secure cars. The man in reception was polite and efficient even at 2am when we arrived but that’s when the good points ended. The room is tired and needs refreshing with heavily marked walls etc but the bedding was clean. Unfortunately, other guests were shouting and banging until 4.30 am then the fire alarm was triggered. I had enough and just left - I complete waste of money and I may have well just slept in the car"
