"I was really pleased with my stay at the Holiday Inn French Quarter Chateau Lemoyne. One of the coolest things about the property is its location. It’s hidden on a lowkey street but still only a short walk from Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, eateries, and other French Quarter attractions. The courtyard and swimming pool gives the hotel a cute New Orleans touch and provides a nice place to unwind after a busy day of exploring. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was cozy and clean. One thing travelers should know is that because the hotel is in an older historic building some rooms and corridors may old-fashioned or smaller than what you'd find at modern hotels. Also if your room faces the street or you're visiting during a busy weekend you may hear some outside noise although it's much quieter than staying directly on Bourbon Street. Overall I'd suggest this hotel to anyone who wants the character of the French Quarter, a convenient walkable location, and a lowkey place to stay while still being close to all the bustle. It's a great balance of charm and convenience."
